Accomodation millions of people during the Hajj.
Every year, over two million Muslims from across the globe converge in Makkah for the Hajj, the largest annual gathering of humans on Earth. Their journey is not passive, it's a sequence of physical, spiritual, and spatial rituals. This proposal serves to accomodate the pilgrims before their journey to Makkah, facilitating spaces for gathering, performing rituals, and co-habitating during this important time of the year. A challenge was to also make it a viable accomodation for people outside of the Hajj season.
